University Health Network (UHN) is Canada’s largest research hospital and supports scientists and trainees that are undertaking cutting-edge research that incorporates Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

UHN is situated in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and is part of a vast research ecosystem that supports world-leading scientists and trainees who are working to address the most pressing health challenges.

The scope of research and complexity of cases at UHN has made us a national and international source for discovery, education and patient care.

Our Mission

The mission of our outreach program is to instill youth with passion and love of STEM. We want youth from all backgrounds to consider STEM as a career path and actively take steps to pursue STEM in their education.

By leveraging diverse teams, programs of excellence and strong community partnerships we hope to provide outreach initiatives for youth across Ontario, especially those from underrepresented and underserved communities.

Our Mandate

In our programming, we are championing the concepts of inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility (IDEA). We aspire to create spaces and opportunities where all youth, regardless of socioeconomic status, age, background or experiences, can participate, feel included and have their voices heard.
