For those looking to pursue an SHSM Certificate, you must be enrolled in the SHSM program (only available to Ontario high school students). We are happy to have students from across Canada joining our events - feel free to share our program information with your friends!

To be eligible for the certificates, students must attend 7 Certificate-eligible STEM Pathways events from September 2024-June 2025. Attendance will be taken at each event (always sign-up and sign-in with your full name). Eligible youth will be emailed their Certificate.

Zoom attendance will be recorded at each virtual event. If students have registered for the program using the form above, we will cross-reference these details with our attendance list for events. It is important that the name used to register for the program (both first and last name) match the name used to register and attend other events (e.g., Zoom name, PA Day form, etc.).

We offer a variety of STEM-focused events. The majority of these events are facilitated virtually. In some events youth complete an interactive activity (e.g., Build Your Own Artificial Intelligence System), while others involve participating in a career panel (e.g., STEM Talks: World Heart Day).

No - while we would love to have you at every event, we understand your schedule may not always allow for that! As long as you attend 7 events between the period of September 2024 and June 2025, you will be eligible for the certificate.

Each event will vary in length, depending on the topic presented and speakers. Nonetheless, each event is typically 1-hour.
