Science of Stem Cells

In this session, youth will participate in an interactive workshop led by a researcher from the McEwen Stem Cell Institute. Youth will learn what pluripotent stem cells are and how these are made in the lab to treat various diseases. This workshop will teach youth how we can create cells of the body using stem cells and discuss the exciting future of stem cells in research and medicine!

Open to Grade 9-12 and undergraduate/college students.
