Mock University Lecture

In this session, youth will have the opportunity to attend a university-level lecture and get a feel of what post-secondary education is like. Deep dive into first year science with Dr. Kenneth Yip, who is a researcher at UHN, professor at the University of Toronto, and the scientific director of Anticancer.ca. 

This exciting lecture will cover the human factor underlying Dr. Yip's common (cancer) and rare disease (COPA syndrome) research, as well as feature some sample exam questions. Dr. Yip is one of the main lecturers for first and second year cellular and molecular biology courses at the University of Toronto.

Open to Grade 9-12 students. Certificate-eligible event!
